Shirley Hoskins

Twenty- five years ago, I started as a self-taught painter using water colours on paper. Over the last few years, I have adapted to the theme of bigger is better. I got a bigger brush and some of my pieces were quite impressive sizes, however, I now use canvases of a more reasonable size, and I have broadened my use of paint mediums to include not only watercolours. I use art acrylics, house acrylics and pour paint to give the works more intense colours, texture, and energy.

Robert Chaban

After graduating from the Ontario College of Art in 1967, I spent over 50 years as an interior designer, shaping hotel spaces across Canada and internationally. In retirement, I returned to my roots - picking up my old brushes and paint box to explore a renewed passion for artistic expression.

Marie Chaban

Born in Niagara-on-the-Lake, my creativity began with my Mother’s patchwork quilt designs and evolved through careers in women’s fashions and marketing management. Now retired, I've embraced my love for leather by learning traditional stitching techniques like saddle and baseball stitch. My passion now is creating artisan leather bags for women, each one hand-crafted with unique designs and colours.
